WTTC Appoints Manfredi Lefebvre as New Chair-Elect
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has announced Manfredi Lefebvre, Chairman of Heritage Group and Co-Chair of Abercrombie and Kent, as its new Chair-Elect. Lefebvre, a WTTC Member for over 20 years and a highly respected figure in the Travel & Tourism sector with over four decades of experience, will assume the position in September during the 25th Global Summit in Rome, Italy. He will succeed current Chairman, Greg O’Hara, Founder and Senior Managing Director of Certares Management LLC, who has held the role since November 2023. O'Hara expressed his delight at Lefebvre's appointment, highlighting his experience and dedication. Lefebvre, known for transforming Silversea Cruises into a global leader, expressed his elation at the appointment, calling it an "esteemed position." Julia Simpson, WTTC President & CEO, thanked Greg O'Hara for his leadership and welcomed Lefebvre, emphasizing his vast experience and potential to drive "unprecedented success" in the sector.
