SkyUp Airlines Launches New Direct Flight: Berlin to Chișinău
SkyUp Airlines has inaugurated a new direct flight route connecting Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) with Chișinău, the capital of Moldova. This new service is set to benefit a wide range of travelers, including business professionals, tourists, and individuals with family or cultural ties to Moldova or Ukraine. The route significantly enhances connectivity between Germany and Eastern Europe, offering a quicker and more convenient travel option.
Flights will operate twice a week. Wednesday flights depart Berlin at 7:10 p.m. and arrive in Chișinău at 10:25 p.m. local time. Friday flights depart Berlin at 4:40 p.m. and arrive in Chișinău at 7:55 p.m. local time. Both flights have an approximate journey time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, eliminating the need for layovers.
This route is particularly beneficial for travelers to and from Ukraine, as Chișinău serves as an accessible alternative due to its proximity. It will also foster stronger bilateral economic ties by facilitating business exchanges between Germany and Moldova, a country with growing sectors like agriculture and technology.
